Mark your calendars. Island Jubilee is set for Nov. 11-12

The 22nd Annual Island Jubilee weekend festival, sponsored by the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce, will take place Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 11-12, at Harry Harris Park, MM 93 Oceanside, Tavernier.

Saturday's events will include the second annual Great Key Largo Barbeque Championship, where up to 50 teams are expected to compete.

Arts and crafts vendors, an assortment of food booths and a kids' play area will be open for business, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

This year's musical line-up will include country and rock 'n' roll. Music will be performed throughout both festival days.

Back by popular demand, Sunday's special events will feature dance studio performances and tae kwon do exhibitions.

The second annual Conch Regatta Cardboard Boat Race - which this year features youth and adult divisions - will take place Sunday afternoon. Click for entry application.
